When Helena and Sindre decided to get married In spain, they knew they wanted something that felt like a getaway for them, and their closets family and friends. The choice fell on Casa de la Era in Marbella, that offers a beautiful and seamless wedding experience.
One of the things I love about photographing weddings in Casa de la Era, is that the layout of the venue. It has 3 different areas that are all designated to different parts of the wedding day. A place for the ceremony, the cocktail hour and a place for dinner and party. Because of this setup, we always have at least one beautiful area free for portraits, and since the venue isn’t huge, we can easy move around quickly capturing a lot in just minutes.
This allowed me to take Helena and Sindre away from their guest doing cocktail hour, to utilise the beauty of the late afternoon sun. In just 10 minutes we managed to create stunning photographs, and have them back with their guest before anyone noticed they were gone.
